Nexpublica acquires Lanteas: moving towards a comprehensive platform for public digital services.

Publication date : 30/09/2025

A few months after becoming independent, Nexpublica has taken another strategic step forward with the acquisition of Lanteas, a French software publisher specializing in user portals and CRM for public sector organizations.
This transaction provides thousands of local authorities and public bodies that are Nexpublica customers with access to Lanteas’ innovative solutions as part of a comprehensive, integrated offering, providing a unified and innovative solution for all local authorities and public bodies.

Having become independent in January 2025, Nexpublica continues to assert its ambition: to put technological innovation at the service of better living together. True to this vision and the commitments of its Manifesto “Progress for society through technology” (September 2025), the company is continuing its development by combining innovation and targeted acquisitions. The integration of Lanteas illustrates this strategy: enriching its platform with new expertise in order to simplify the relationship between administrations, citizens, and public officials.

Complementarity at the service of communities

Lanteas offers unique expertise through its multi-type user portal and omnichannel Open CRM, which can manage interactions between citizens and government agencies (teleservices, mail, email, in-person, social media).
Its business solutions—Open Sub (subsidies), Open GRU (multi-channel user relations), Open Enfance (educational and extracurricular services), Open GRA (agent relations), and Open Collèges et Lycées (middle and high schools)—are already deployed by numerous public entities, including metropolitan areas, departments, regions, rural and urban municipalities, and educational institutions.
In two years, Lanteas has won more than 40 new customers for its software offering, demonstrating the robustness and growth of its offerings. Its 17 employees, based in Aix-en-Provence, are joining Nexpublica today.

An ambitious industrial and technological project

The acquisition of Lanteas is part of Nexpublica’s drive for innovation:
• launch of the Nexpublica platform and new HR, Finance, and Medical-Social Suites,
• widespread adoption of SaaS offerings for its product portfolio,
• integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into user relations and service management.
This strategy aims to offer a unified platform that meets the growing expectations of public sector players: proximity to citizens, attractiveness of the public service profession, innovation in the public sector, sovereignty, and cybersecurity.

A shared ambition

“In addition to its business solutions that enhance our product offering, Lanteas provides a set of front-office components that complement our platform. Together, we will strengthen our support for local authorities and offer a more fluid, accessible, and efficient digital experience for both citizens and officials,” says Martin Hubert, President of Nexpublica.

“Since Lanteas was founded, we have been working to simplify the relationship between users and administrations by combining innovation and pragmatism. Joining Nexpublica allows us to take this mission to a new level, with more resources, more synergies, and a shared vision: putting digital technology at the service of all regions,” conclude Hervé Astier and Rodolphe Lanctuit, Associate Directors of Lanteas.
For this transaction, Nexpublica and Lanteas received legal advice from Cloix Mendes-Gil and Devolvé-Poniatowski-Suay, and financial advice from Advance BDO.
