Press release
Nexpublica and CANUT seal partnership to serve the public sector.
Publication date : 19/11/2025
A new milestone for local authorities: CANUT (Centrale d’Achat du Numérique et des Télécoms) and Nexpublica are setting out the conditions for accessing Nexpublica software to meet the technical, budgetary, and strategic challenges of the public sector.
Within the existing multi-publisher framework agreement, CANUT and Nexpublica are formalizing an operational partnership aimed at simplifying local authorities’ access to Nexpublica’s business software via a subscription model. This partnership offers CANUT beneficiary local authorities negotiated terms, enhanced support and maintenance commitments, and shared governance over operational management.
These special purchasing terms are based on four areas: financial, technical, contractual, and governance, meeting the expectations of local authorities and CANUT. They cover in particular the ASTRE GF, ASTRE HR, IODAS, HORUS, and DELOS offerings, with strong commitments in terms of security, open source, interoperability, and containerization of these solutions. They will thus provide local authorities with greater budgetary visibility, functional and technological flexibility, and control over their cybersecurity.
“This partnership with CANUT, within the existing multi-publisher framework agreement, is a key step in our mission: to offer the public sector sovereign, high-performance, and secure technology. Together, we are building a common digital foundation in the public interest. That is the goal of the Nexpublica software platform,” said Martin Hubert, President of Nexpublica.
“Thanks to this agreement, our beneficiaries will have harmonized purchasing, maintenance, and support conditions. More importantly, this agreement allows local authorities to work with Nexpublica to co-develop the functional and technical evolution of their everyday business solutions,” adds Christophe Lombard, President of CANUT.
